Regular monthly membership meetings are held in

January, March, May, July, September, November

on the second Tuesday of the month at

2081 Beaumont Drive beginning at 7:00 pm.

Special membership meetings are held as needed,

providing advance notice is given to the membership.

Executive Board Meetings are held

in the even months of the year.

Election Results

     Congratulations to Naomi Riley, who won the election for the position of Chief Steward- Consumer/Small Business. Results were announced at last night's meeting, November 08, 2011.

    Thank you Valerie Downing for running for office!

Thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to vote in this Election. Let's keep the Unity alive and continue to make our Union the best it can be!

Nominations Results

     Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 7:00pm, a special meeting was held to take nominations for Officers and Executive Board Members of CWA Local 3403 for the next three (3) years. They will take office beginning January 1, 2012. Nominations were taken for:

• President - Walter J. Bagot was the only nomination for the Office of President and was elected to another term.

• Vice President -  Jo Ann McCauley was the only nomination for the Office of Vice President and was elected to another term.

• Secretary-Treasurer - Barbara K. Smart was the only nomination for the Office of Secretary-Treasurer and was elected to another term.

• Chief Steward-Outside Plant - L. Dwaine Henderson was the only nomination for the Office of Chief Steward - Outside Plant and was elected to another term.

• Chief Steward-Inside Plant - No nominations were made.

• Chief Steward-Consumer/Small Business - Ms. Valerie Downing and Ms. Naomi Riley were both nominated for this position and an election will be held.

Only members in the Consumer/Small Business Departments will be eligible to vote in this election. Voting will take place at 3854 American Way (Lunch Room Area) and at 5550 S. Sherwood Forest (2nd Floor Break Room Area) on Monday, October 31, 2011 and on Monday, November 07, 2011 between the hours of 9:00am till 6:30pm.

Results will be announced on Tuesday, November 08, 2011 at our Local Membership Meeting, which starts at 7:00pm and the physical address is:  2081 Beaumont Drive.

• Chief Steward-Independent Units - Joe Bordelon was the only nomination for the Office of Chief Steward - Independent Units and was elected to another term.

• Chief Steward-AT&T/Cingular Wireless - Sheila A. Thompson was the only nomination for the Office of Chief Steward - AT&T/Cingular Wireless and was elected to another term.

Thanks to all our Members who participated in last night's meeting and please vote if you are in the Consumer/Small Business Departments in your upcoming election for Chief Steward.
